Well its almost the end of the semester and it seems it can’t arrive soon enough. After much stubble with time and work, I was finally able to get most of my passing grades that I was looking for. Now its all a matter of taking those finals and going home fro Christmas. I can’t wait to go home. I like to think that this school has very good caring teachers who usually want you to succeed, and will give you chances to do your best. Time to go and get something to eat. I’m hungry again. lol

It seems work at school never seems to end. Most teachers think we have all the time in the world for their classes. I think most of them forgot what its like to be student, I’m not complaining about school, I just want teachers to be more understanding of our situations during the school year. On a brighter note our thanksgiving break is less than a week aways and everyone is excited to to go home and spend time with their families. I know I am ready to go and see my family and eat some good food. I just have to get through these packed few days of classes.

The time is getting near for me to make the trip to see my girlfriend. I must say I’m very excited to see her! Even though its ten hours away, its still feels like only an hour away. Tomorrow I will change my spark plugs which should fix my rough idle. Now I’m working on finishing my website which is taking a lot of time. I wish I could work on this at home as I’m restricted to the times the lab is open. I can how this can take along time to perfect because it is a combination of design and technical knowledge .

This weekend was very good. I had the opportunity to go home and spend time with my family and my girlfriend. I was really worried she was not able to make it because a deer hit her car. The good thing was that she was not hurt and the car only sustained minor damage. She was able to rent a car from the insurance company and come hang out with me. The fall break was too short, but I really needed to unwind from the daily stress of school and work. My life seems to be a nonstop flow of incoming assignments. Thanksgiving break cannot come soon enough.

Today we are working on getting our design principles down so we can make better event websites. This sounds familiar to the publication tools & techniques class I took last semester. Everyone here seems to be really talented at this, there is no shortage of creativity among us. I want this to be something I can get good at, because there is good money in this. I also want this week to be over so I can go home and see my family.

dang..today is like overload. All this homework and work is getting to me…having to deal with high expectations from teachers who think you have all the time in the world to do your assignments sucks.
