Photoshop Fun

I was bored so I decided to get on photoshop and mess around. I chose to use the gradient tool and use a variety of colors to give my pictures a new feel. I am really happy with how things turned out. I think this would be a fun exercise for anyone.

I see God in Lady Gaga

            I go to a conservative Christian University, I can imagine the things people are thinking when I say I see God in Lady Gaga. I can imagine the grief that many people will give me for ever comparing her to God. Many Christians see her as a person who has sold her sole to the devil, but I can’t help but see her as a women that has something many Christians lack.

Lady Gaga sees no one as lesser or greater then anyone else. Lady Gaga fights for a world were everyone is equal. Gaga see no difference in race, gender, sexual orientations or whether your cool or not. Gaga sees beyond that and understands there is no difference between any person of less value.

I love keeping up with information on Gaga because I try so hard to understand her and the only thing I can conclude for sure is that she was hurt and has risen above. Gaga has always been different and she was treated bad for it growing up. She was bullied and mistreated when she was younger, she even got thrown in the trash. Now she makes it her goal in life to make people understand that everyone is equal. She understands the pain that many people go through and tries to stop it. She has even started a campaign to make bullying a hate crime.

Gaga understands what it is like to walk into cafeteria and not have a place to sit.  She understands that high schools, elementary schools  and a matter of fact the whole world is a hateful place. There are kids who fall asleep dreading to wake up the next day because they have to go back to school. Gaga knows as sure as hell that should never be the case. Thirteen year old kids should not be committing suicide because people are calling them fags, ugly or inadequate. She know every person should be proud the way they and what makes them different is what makes them special.

This love that Gaga has for every person is the characteristic that I find most appealing in God. God says all men were created equal. Everyone is his creation he made everyone in his image and everyone is perfect to him.  We need to be spreading that message and telling people that they are  loved. We need to everyone know that  the only person that matters died for them.

Here at Southern I don’t see direct rude comments, I see a lack of acceptant. Why don’t we get out of our comfort zones and eat with that person sitting alone. We wont be mean to someone’s face, but we also don’t go at of our why to make a difference in someone’s life.  Who knows they my not see their vale anymore.

Being accepting of everyone is something I am not even close to having but I long for. I long to be a person that can love everyone else because He first loved me. I hope you will join me in my quest to be more accepting.

 

Crashing A Wedding

I was up in Chicago over last break for a communications convention. It was the last night and we were at some awards banquet that was extremely boring so we got up and left. Not knowing what to do next we figured in a hotel this big there had to be a wedding going on somewhere and there was. It was near the end of the reception so we didn’t spend to much time there but we did take some pictures in their photo booth and sign their guest book! Then people started starring at us and so we ditched.

Sand Rock Alabama

I was recently in Alabama with my rock climbing class doing some testing. While there I snapped some interesting pictures in the rock maze. One is of a friend jumping from one cliff to another because that honestly was the easiest way to get down and the other is a shadow of someone straddling two rocks.
